Unit Co E, 2nd NC Mounted Infantry is primarily a Union group but also portrays Confederate if needed. Co E is located in western NC and attends Civil War reenactments scattered throughout western NC and the surrounding states.

Whose sole purpose is to preserve history of North Carolina's role in the War Between the States and to portray the Soldiers of the original 38th NCT . We are located in the Piedmont area of NC.
