Family Event

Over 700 acres of trails and streams, a 20+ acre battlefield and shaded campsites.
Military Timeline 1776 - Present. Battles on Saturday and Sunday (Civil War and World War II) plus H.L. Hunley Mobile Exhibit and living history exhibits and a lantern tour.
Fine Sutler row; weapon demonstrations; Sunday church service, Memorial Service held by Order of Confederate Rose/Black Rose; and Ladies Tea, workshops & fashion show.
Children's activities, the usual amenities and campaigners welcome. No Pets

Holden invites the public to a Civil War Reenactment held at Holden's city lake. This is a Maximum Effort Event sanctioned by the Missouri Civil War Reenactor's Association, Sponsoring Unit is the Missouri 2nd, Artillery. Holden is a growing community located 30 miles east of Lee's Summit.

20th annual anniversary of Blackford County Civil War Days and 15th annual Educational Day. Bounties for first 200 (100 US/CSA) infantry, first twelve full-scale artillery, and first twelve cavalry. Ongoing skirmish up to battle both days, tactical Sunday morning, military ball, payroll, artillery night firing, demonstrations, parlor games, ladies tea and fashion show. $50 drawing each day for one CS & US soldier. Hay, straw, wood, plus Saturday evening meal provided. Registration free for all persons except sutlers. Sutler fee - $25.00 (donated to the Blackford County Monument Fund). 148th Anniversary of the Battle of Camp Wildcat, London, Kentucky,
sponsored by the Laurel Home Guard. The three-day event begins with a
school day Friday. As many reenactors as possible are encouraged to come
early and help share living history with the 800-1,400 children who
usually attend. We would also like demonstrations of period crafts,
impersonations, and enough people for a small skirmish for the students.
Dinner and hayride provided for helping with School Day. Saturday and
Sunday feature a full battle reenactment each day. Other events include
historical speakers on Saturday and Sunday, memorial service,
demonstrations, civilian social, period church service, dance, and more.
Dinner served to reenactors Saturday night. Sutler space is limited, so
pre-registration is required. Sutler fee is $30. Food vendors allowed by
invitation only. Military reenactors, due to the difficulty in obtaining
powder, you must pre-register in order to be assured of powder. Reenactor
pre-registration deadline is Sept. 1, 2009. Fee is $5 per person ($10 per
family in same household) paid before Oct. 1; after Oct. 1 (including
walk-ons) fee is $8 per person. Union reenactors needed. Make checks

Re-enactors from the entire northeast will congregate on 150 acres of pristine valleys, meadows, mountains, and creeks in scenic Madison County NY; to portray a north vs. south weekend. Battle scenes, hospital scenes, living history, fashion show, vintage games, church services, candle light tours, artillery and cavalry will all display a historically accurate portrayal of life during Civil War. Sutlers will be peddling their wares, available for reenactor and public purchases. Educational Day on Friday for local schools for living history. The Fresno Historical Society and National Civil War Association
present the largest living history reenactment of the Civil War in the Western United States.
at Kearney Park, Fresno, California. This beautiful park is transformed into encampments for Union and Confederate soldiers and Civilians to the amazement of spectators. Two battles daily with field hospital reenactments following the battles. Our focus this year is medical history.
